Cobham, September 2010
In rip-roaring 20s style, Elmbridge Music has celebrated its 5th Birthday along the River Thames in London.
200 costumed partygoers boarded a boat by the London Eye and were treated to a commentary of the London sights, followed by a sumptuous meal and Charleston dancing. A five-piece jazz band provided the music to set the 20s scene.
Formed in 2005, Elmbridge Music has since grown to encompass two choirs and two bands with just over 300 members. They are proud to have raised over £88,000 for charity over the last five years, and with exciting plans for the future the next five years certainly look bright.
